Help

1. Fuzzy matching
All numerical search parameters are matched against the catalog with a fuzzy algorithm, so you don't have to worry about entering exact quantities: for example, a query for 4000 MB RAM matches all servers with 4096 MB and nearby values, too.
2. CPUs, shared or dedicated
A shared CPU vCore is a virtual core that contends its computational time slots among other tenants on the same hardware. A dedicated vCore instead is reserved to a single tenant for his exclusive use, and provides the computational performance of the underlying hardware core, minus overhead. On hyper-threading or multi-threading CPUs, a dedicated vCore corresponds to one hardware thread reserved to the tenant. Providers that offer VPSs under the marketing term "dedicated CPU resources" but de-facto don't reserve hardware threads to individual tenants are classified as shared cores.
3. CPU classes
The rule of thumb used by the search engine is
Intel < Ryzen < Epyc
.
This means that, searching for Intel CPUs returns Intel, Ryzen and Epyc results; searching for Ryzen returns Ryzen and Epyc, and searching for Epyc only returns Epyc results.
4. Storage classes
Class order:
HDD < SSD < NVMe
. See "CPU classes" for example.
5. ISO mount
VPSs that permit uploading and mounting custom ISO images also permit installing Windows, macOS and FreeBSD. If OS activation is required, it can be done with your own license key. However, some versions of Windows require cryptographic hardware on the motherboard that the provider may not have.
